ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Confirmation program at SJN is a two-year process that helps candidates grow in relationship with God and better understand the Catholic faith in preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation. Through teaching, discussion, retreats, service, and community, teens can more personally experience Christ's love and know that they have a home in the body of Christ.

Empowered by the Holy Spirit, confirmandi can then more confidently go forth to be Christ's hands and feet in the world and live the Gospel.

Registrations for the 2024-2025 program have closed. Registrations will open in July.

Enrollment in our Youth Confirmation program is available to any individual who is in 9th - 11th grade. Students in their senior year of high school or older should contact the St. John Neumann OCIA program to receive their Sacrament of Confirmation.

 FAQs

  • Confirmation is a two-year program in order for your teen to receive the best possible sacrament preparation. Because many seniors in high school may be leave the area for college after graduation or turn 18 (which makes them ineligible to participate in youth ministry by diocesan standards), we ask that only freshman through juniors partake in our program. We can accommodate high school seniors under extraordinary circumstances. Please email Evie or Celeste for more information if necessary. Seniors are welcome to participate in our many other youth ministry events.
